Windows 7 – Better Or Worse Than Vista?

This is really a loaded question. Windows Vista is probably the biggest failure in the history of Microsoft. From day one the operating system was plagued with numerous problems and angry users who suddenly missed their old XP or 2000 operating systems. It was almost impossible for Microsoft to release an operating system that was worse then Vista, or more hated, so if that were the case the reputation of Windows may have been irreparably harmed. That being said, Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system is far superior to not only Vista, but all of the Windows operating systems that came before it.
Microsoft did have users test their new operating system before it was made available to the general public. Of the 550 users who test Windows 7 before its release, many had at least minimal familiarity with Windows products prior to this trial. Of these 550 users, 61% are using the system for home and personal use mostly, 25% said they were using it for both home and work equally and about 14% found themselves using it almost entirely for their business needs. The testers were also split between users who installed the Windows 7 operating system into a clean computer, and users who installed it directly over Windows Vista.
The results of this testing were very good for Microsoft and Windows 7. Only a very small fraction of the testers has trouble with the installation of Windows 7, which is to be expected when you are installing any new operating system onto a PC. The one area of the installation which caused the most issues for the testers was compatibility with drivers and other software, which again is to be expected when installing a new operating system. A handful of the testers did end up having their computer crash during the installation process, however the percentage of users who encountered this was very small. This testing helped Microsoft prove that the installation of Windows 7 is significantly better than the Windows Vista installation, and the very small number of issues that arose during testing should not be a concern for consumers.
In general user experience has been beneficial with only about 5% of people reporting that they were not satisfied with the overall performance of the operating system itself. As compared to the test run for Windows Vista before it was released, this had about half the users complaining about it before it got out of the gates.
It looks as if Microsoft has finally made a superior operating system with the release of Windows 7 and as long as they continue to update and manage the problems that arise, there should be no reason why people should not switch over with fabulous results. There are several places to find duck hunting games on the internet, in video arcades and for home game consoles. Some of these games are gory and very realistic, while others are almost cartoonish and designed for kids.
When I was young we played a game called Duck Hunt on the Nintendo 8 bit system that was released in the mid 1980s. Since their release in the 1970s, video games and duck hunting games have evolved dramatically.
Nintendo duck hunting games are nostalgic now with the plastic gray light gun. Today’s games are so real and 3d that it almost feels like you are part of the game.
Video arcades today have games more advanced than nostalgic duck hunting games. These games cost tens of thousands of dollars to make and sometimes several dollars to play for a few brief minutes.
The graphics in old school duck hunting games are outdated compared with modern video games that simulate situations in life with almost pure reality. These new shooting games are so real that you almost feel like you are part of the video game. Video games now are more about making money and shooting things violently than having fun with your friends for a few hours.
It can cost several dollars to play some of the more recent video arcade games. I can’t even remember when every video game was a quarter. That’s back when I was a kid like 20 years ago!
I just wish that I could find a video arcade somewhere that had more of the classic games like I used to play when I was growing up. One time I even rode my bike over three and a half miles to get to this huge video arcade. I just wish I had not wasted so much time playing duck hunting games and other Nintendo games.
I no longer play any video games on my computer or Playstation because I sold my system on craigslist. When I saw that my sister and her friends where completely addicted to playing video games, I vowed not to become a lazy person like that.
Playing duck hunting games for a few minutes is a good way for me to escape and have fun. It is not like playing Halo where I would play for hours and totally disrupt my daily and weekly routine because I had to finish the next level.
