Branding For Business Success
Oct 11th
Few would dispute that the Harley eagle and logo are part of the most effective brands ever created. If you doubt that claim, just name another logo that many people routinely tattoo on their body. Just think how many people have voluntarily become walking billboards for the Harley Davidson motorcycles? So how did this company create such dedication? Effective brand management, proper positioning within a market, and selling to the market’s most basic needs. What can we learn from Harley Davidson’s promotion approach? The answer to the question is everything.
Your logo and brand represent the fundamental position of your company. It is your logo and brand that people are going to recognize. Your logo is a fundamental representation of your company, and it is the continual promotion of this symbol that creates awareness in your client’s mind space. Therefore, continually ensure your logo properly represents your organization, and always include your logo on your correspondence, and promotion collateral.
Branding you logo is a fundamental step in securing your market. Branding requires that you repetitively present your specific market with your logo while associating the image with the products that you provide.
The objective is to assist your customer in establishing a mental association with the image so that they know exactly what the logo represents whenever they see it. The mental relationship can be a product such as the RedX Real Estate Data Exchange or an image and lifestyle such as Nike and Harley Davidson. Regardless of the service or product that you offer, your brand needs to create a strong mental connection to your target customer.
You ought to constantly promote your brand and logo, and should always stay away from significantly modifying it. Establishing brand awareness is a colossal task, and each time you logo is updated, the process must be started over. Promote your logo on all of your products, on all of your correspondence, and most of all, on all of your marketing material. Make you know, and use all accessible means to brand yourself to your clients and prospects. The approach is expensive, but when you are branded, your company is the first one to enter a prospects mind when they think of your product.

Jun 16th
You should know that there are five crucial things that you should do to create a good impression on a potential client or customer to begin the journey to closing the sale before you ever talk to the potential client in person, on the phone, or communicate via the internet.
1. Create a positive, dynamic, informative website. Your prospect may find you via the Internet long before you find him! Chances are that will be via a search engine or by going directly to your url when recommended by a friend, colleague, or associate. Your website could be forming the very first impression your prospect will ever have”of you and your business! Be sure your website is positive and dynamic”to generate a positive response from that prospect and make him want to do business with you. Similarly, provide quality content and information on your website that your prospect can really use”not just a bunch of fluff and sales pitches. Finally, make sure your website is easy to navigate and use!
2. Connect with potential customers by sending them a professional proposal or brochure. This can be the perfect way to introduce yourself and your company to a prospect in a non-threatening, yet professional way. Send a nice and professional looking postcard, flyer, proposal, or brochure. Make sure that it is well written, beautifully designed, and eye popping. It should also be a good representation of you and your company and should by reflective of the work that you do. In addition, it should entice the customer to want to buy. Don’t forget, you cannot make a first impression again!
3. Do your research on your prospect beforehand. If it is possible, you should do a little information uncovering about your prospect or your prospect’s business. Take the time to really understand their needs and desires so that you can better serve them. The better you are able to serve your customers, the better they will serve you in terms of sales. However, it is not all about sales, but human interaction and care. People want to know that someone cares; and if you are the person who cares, it is sure to reflect well in your bank account.
4. Personalize a product or marketing piece for the prospect. If you’re meeting with a new prospect with the hope of selling him coffee mugs, create a custom mug for that prospect with his name or business name and logo on it. If you’re providing a service or some other less tangible or easy-to-produce product, customize and personalize a marketing piece that will get the prospects attention. You might create a fake magazine cover with a headline that tells the prospect the benefits they can expect to receive from working with you. For instance, XYZ Company Nets $1 Million After Launching New Advertising Campaign.
5. Give stuff away free. To quickly and effectively capture the attention of a prospect, try sending a gift of some sort or a free sample. Most of us hate junk mail and throw it away, however, we do like packages and look forward to getting them. Sending a gift or package is sure to get your message across to the prospect, and also encourages them to think of you when they are in need of your product or service. You should make sure that your company logo are visible on whatever you send, that it is clear what product or service you are selling, and that there is contact information provided as well.
Think ahead, think differently, take a few small proactive steps to create a good first impression, and watch your numbers explode!
